ARTE UNIVERSAL
Como lectura obligatoria en Bachillerato leí el ensayo de Ortega y Gasset, La deshumanización del arte, y sinceramente me decepcionó....
This is Carmen, a Spanish student based in Madrid. I'm an Art and History major and this is my save place where I can share what I find of my interest and hopefully also yours. (This new site is intended to be bilingual just to force myself to practice and use my english weekly) :)
"We don't read and write poetry because it's cute. We read and write poetry because we are members of the human race. And the human race is filled with passion. And medicine, law, business, engineering, these are noble pursuits and necessary to sustain life. But poetry, beauty, romance, love, these are what we stay alive for." (1989. Dead Poets Society. Peter Weir, Script by Tom Schulman)
